Chicken Thighs in Mushroom Cream Sauce

Seared to perfection, the succulent chicken thighs nestle in a rich, herb-infused cream sauce, boasting the earthy essence of sautéed mushrooms. This quick-witted wok creation promises a symphony of flavors, from the aromatic thyme and rosemary to the velvety embrace of heavy cream. 

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced (any variety you prefer)
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  • Prepare the Chicken Thighs:
    • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
    • Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  • Sear the Chicken:
    • Heat the olive oil in the EaZy MealZ EaZy Flip Wok  over medium-high heat.
    • Place the chicken thighs, skin side down, and sear until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
    • Remove chicken from the wok and set aside.
  • Sauté Aromatics:
    • In the same wok, add chopped onions and garlic. Sauté until softened.
  • Add Mushrooms and Herbs:
    • Add sliced mushrooms to the wok and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown.
    • Stir in dried thyme and rosemary.
  • Deglaze with Chicken Broth:
    • Pour in chicken broth to deglaze the wok, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
  • Simmer with Cream:
    • Reduce heat to medium-low and return the seared chicken thighs to the 
    • Heat the olive oil in the EaZy MealZ EaZy Flip Wok
    • Pour in heavy cream, ensuring the chicken is partially submerged.
    • Simmer for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens.
  • Adjust Seasoning:
    • Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  • Serve:
    • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
  • Optional: Serve Over Rice or Pasta:
    • This dish pairs well with rice, pasta, or crusty bread. Serve the chicken thighs and mushroom cream sauce over your preferred accompaniment.
